Richnex Microelectronics is a privately held fabless IC company based in Taiwan, Republic of China. Richnex designs and markets the state-of-the-art mixed-signal ICs for analog video decoding and USB related applications. Target markets for Richnex ICs include Video Surveillance, Digital Video Recording, Analog TV, Mobile Devices and a range of other high growth areas.
Founded in Taiwan in January 2008, Richnex is a subsidiary of Richtek Technology Corporation (www.richtek.com, TSE: 6286), with its headquarter located in Chupei City, Taiwan and Sales and Marketing Department in Taipei County, Taiwan. Richnex is led by Dr. Luke Hsieh and attracted a team of highly qualified and motivated semiconductor professionals.

Chairman
Luke Hsieh is the Chairman of Richnex, and the CEO and co-founder of Richtek Technology Corporation. Luke has worked successfully in engineering and management for 23 years. Under his leadership, Richtek has become one of the world's leading providers of power management IC solutions with the revenue of NT 6.84 billion in 2008.
Richnex is founded by Richtek and undertakes the culture and values of Richtek which are key to success. Before co-founding Richtek, Luke was with AT&T Bell Laboratories where he was responsible for R&D and engineering management. Prior to Bell Laboratories, he had worked as the principal engineer in NSC. Luke received his MSEE from University of Florida and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University.
Dr. Shen Tu
President
Shen Tu is the President at Richnex. He has more than 25 years experience in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. Most recently, Dr. Tu was the Vice President of New Business Division at Richtek, where he led the development of the core technology that serves as the basis of Richnex product offering. Dr. Tu has held positions in IC design management and design engineering in companies in Taiwan and the United States, including TSMC, Cisco Systems, Motorola SPS (Freescale), AT&T Bell Labs, and Harris Semiconductor (Intersil). Dr. Tu received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from West Virginia University.
Scott Wang
CFO
Scott Wang is the Chief Financial Officer at Richnex . He has more than 20 years experience in finance, accounting, global investment and M&A area. Scott was Vice President of Ritek Corporation, which has been one of the world’s largest CD-R and DVD-R manufacturers. He participated in the management and investment activities of Ritek overseas subsidiaries. Before Ritek, he joined Giant manufacturing Co. , which is one of the world’s largest bicycle manufacturers with own brand “Giant”. He was responsible for Giant’s financing , accounting and the management of overseas sales office. He received his MBA degree from National Cheng-Chi University, Taiwan.
