High-resolution analog decoder chips can handle analog video signals with resolutions up to 1440p30 and convert them to MIPI CSI-2 output. This high-resolution video is used in automotive applications to support vision-based autonomous driving and ADAS.

Frame Rate

Camera Monitoring Systems (CMS) are used in modern vehicles to replace physical mirrors. A frame rate of 60 fps or higher, combined with low-latency video transmission and display systems, is essential for this application. Decoders with higher frame rates and resolutions are well-suited for CMS. Refer to RN6852V1 for more details. Other applications that require higher frame rates include Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), industrial applications, and slow-motion effects.
